Clint Eastwood is planning a return to the big screen playing a baseball talent scout in the film, Trouble with the Curve. Eastwood will not be in the director’s seat this time. As a matter of fact, this will be the first time since 1993’s In the Line of Fire that Eastwood has acted in, but not directed a film. Amy Adams is on board to play Eastwood’s daughter and we’ve recently learned that Justin Timberlake has signed up. He’ll play a former pitcher who now works as a baseball scout for the New York Yankees, and may or may not be the love interest for Adam’s character.
If any doubted that Mr. Timberlake could make the transition from pop music to the big screen, they must be questioning that now. Recently starring in The Social Network, Bad Teacher, In Time and Friends With Benefits, he’ll soon begin filming the Coen Brothers’ folk music film, Inside Llewyn Davis.
