Matthew Ross Coleman

Matthew Coleman has always had a passion for film. At the age of 4, Matthew encountered his first cinematic experience with “Toy Story 2″. Completely captivated, his parents continued in purchasing many Disney classics such as: Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Sleeping Beauty, Aladdin, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and The Lion King. Evidently, his passion for Film had risen.

For years to follow, his passion for film had became incredibly rewarding throughout his School life. At the age of 10, Matthew was casted as the lead in an upcoming school production entitled “Gel” in which he portrayed a struggling drama student. Matthew had received positive feedback from the audience, and continued his love for acting. Following his passion, Matthew auditioned for several film adapted productions at his Secondary School.

In January 2010, Matthew had created his first youtube channel “TheMcoleman148″. Inspired by many great faces on the youtube movie community, he began to make videos himself. His channel consisted of Movie Reviews, DVD/Blu-Ray updates, Short Films & News. On the 8th of October 2011, Matthew decided to leave “TheMcoleman148″ and had created his new channel “MatthewRossColeman”. Which contains similar material to which he previous had.

In many of his videos, Matthew conveys his love for Alfred Hitchcock. At the age of 9, his parents first introduced him to the 60′s classic “Psycho”. Again, Matthew was completely captivated. His passion for Hitchcock had increased. And still to this very day, he continues to praise the legend himself. Matthew is an independent Filmmaker, and has written and directed over 15 short films. Incredibly inspired, his films appear in the image of Hitchcock.

Matthew currently studies Film & Broadcasting at Ayr College, Scotland. In 2013, he plans on continuing his passion for Film at London Film School, in hope of becoming a successful Screenwriter and Director.
