Jennifer Pan

Jennifer Pan was born and raised in Long Beach, California. Her family then moved to Dallas, Texas in her teens. Around that time she was watching the movie Mr. Holland’s Opus on television and that is where it all began. Her love for the actor Richard Dreyfuss, which drew her to his films and after watching dozens upon dozens of his films over and over she began to feel this need to want to develop stories and characters. The thought of working in the film industry was not only to express herself as an artist but to also motivate, impact, and bring people to together.
Throughout her academic years she was always in art classes developing an eye for visual media and compositions. The desire to become a filmmaker was always consistent, even taking theater and public speaking/debate courses. She originally wanted to major in Film-making in college but due to the realistic standpoint she had to turn to graphic design and media for her major in college. One of her college classes was photography and through that medium she grew this passion for composing images. The gravitation towards camcorders, cameras and learning how to capture the images of people in a creative visual way had opened her eyes to becoming a cinematographer.
Jennifer has always been enamored by the entertainment and media industry. So much so that in the fall of 2006 she focused on creating a multimedia company called Jepanic Productions. Producing videos, portrait photography, graphic design, web design and music. In 2007 she launched the YouTube channel for Jepanic Productions where there is a variety of video content ranging from tech news/overviews, movie reviews, theater talk, sketches, music videos and much more to come.
Currently residing in Denver, Colorado as a graphic designer, videographer, editor, photographer and one of the executive producers for the show Game Sack. Her goals are to become a successful cinematographer and establish production studios across the country for developing films, television shows, music videos and commercials. Jen is responsible for creating the We Live Film intro as well as a new segment coming soon to site featuring a weekly recap of everything posted on the site for that week. We are not only delighted, but truly honored to have the talented Jennifer Pan as part of the always growing We Live Film family.
