Erik Bajzert was born on the planet known as earth and since his birth, he has always had a very strong love for movies. Movies were there for him before he even learned how to read. Erik recalls being able to identify a movie based on how it smelled rather than actually reading the title (there are videos that exist…and they are very strange). As a kid, Erik never really fit in, so movies were always their as an escape. They let him run into a world beyond all the bullshit of school and social anxieties. As time went on, movies became a more prevalent part of his life.  Besides film, Erik is also involved with a lot of theater activities. He says the phrase “I was born on the stage” a lot because he always seem to be involved in some kind of a play, or stand up comedy routine. His entire life changed when he started running a blog called “Film Rant with Erik Bajzert” (which still exists). Erik has always been insanely opinionated and the blog was a way to start learning how to voice my opinions early on (even though he admits that he can’t stand to read it now). People loved the blog at the time and he had found himself a new hobby. Unfortunately, this new hobby wasn’t enough for Erik because he wanted to combine his love of the performing arts with his opinions on movies and when he put the two together a weird love child entitled BAJZERTproductions began. BAJZERTproductions is actually the name of Erik’s YouTube channel where he makes hilarious youtube videos and it has become one of his greatest accomplishments of his life thus far. For a small town Canadian kid to have any kind of a fan base is surreal and every day that goes by Erik thinks about the possibility of making a new video with excitement and whimsy. While he is already thrilled with his YouTube endeavor, Erik has found another proud endeavor by joining WeLiveFilm where we hope to showcase his crazy antics as well as his comedic writing style.
