Alex Perez

Alex Perez was born on October 10, 1997 and has been an avid lover of filmmaking all his life. Even when he was a little tike, he was always amazed whenever he watched a film. However, it wasn’t until his preteen years where he fully devoted his attention to all of the dynamics of filmmaking such as writing and editing. Along with this milestone, in 2009, Alex started to take an interest in people on YouTube such as Tom Chatalbash and Chris Stuckmann, average everyday people who sit in front of a camera and share their thoughts about movies. Alex was ultimately inspired to do this as well, and thus, he launched his first YouTube channel called HumanGuitarTV on February 10, 2010. His channel wasn’t entirely devoted to film, however, as he also did video game reviews and rants, but his main focus was, in fact, film. His first movie review was for Clash of the Titans, and since then, his reviews have garnered a good amount of attention from people on the YouTube film critic community.

In October 2010, Alex’s first channel was hacked and shut down, causing him to create his current channel called HumanGuitarTV1. Since the creation of this new channel, Alex has continued to do what he loves: share his thoughts on film with the people of the world. Alex has also taken a liking to independent filmmaking. His short films released on YouTube include Justin Bieber: What The World Has Come To, Amnesia, and The Mystery of the Non-Functioning Lighter. Upcoming independent films from Alex include films such as Ready Aim Burn, A Hectic Christmas, and Amplified. Many of his films are directed and written by Alex along with his good friend M. Mayorga. Both love film very much and hope to pursue a career in this amazing form of art. Alex is a prime example of someone who truly lives film.
